All of the pictures I have posted to date have been pretty pure. Aside from adding a watermark, those photos have been posted exactly how the camera took them. No light adjustments, no color adjustments. Today I delved into a little bit of editing. The fog in the picture swallowed the color of the gondolas at Whistler's Peak-to-Peak, so I did what I could to pull the red from the clouds.
I hope you're enjoying this project. For my part, I have loved having an excuse to view light and color and shapes critically, to try to capture those things in a way that does something to pull your (or my) attention in. As autumn works its way toward us, I'm looking forward to trying to bring the season to photographic life.
